It is a 5D flight simulator (with wind and water effects) that lets you soar over the tulip fields or archetypal Dutch windmills in a bird's-eye view. Finally, there is the extraordinary Eye Film Museum building, where you can learn all about films. It is quite special that Eye's modern building is just steps away from some beautiful monuments, including the monumental Ponthuys. Feel like partying instead of soaking up culture? Music and gigs can be found at Paradiso Noord, a smaller version of Paradiso on the Weteringschans. We're sure you'll have a great time in this area, but if you do want to head towards the centre, you can do so for free with the ferry that runs between Amsterdam's Buiksloterweg and Central Station.
