Car park Garage dei Tintori

This parking is located within Florence's ZTL, which is active year-round on weekdays, from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
In addition, from April to late October, the summer night ZTL is also active, running from 8:00 PM on Thursday to 11:00 PM on Friday, from 11:00 PM on Friday to 3:00 AM on Saturday, and from 11:00 PM on Saturday to 3:00 AM on Sunday. The ZTL fee is 1€ per entry, paid directly at the parking lot.

Petrol Euro 1 and diesel Euro 2 vehicles CANNOT access this parking as it is located within the ZTL.

In case the car park has no more free spots, it is likely that they take your vehicle to a close parking area, located in Via Edmondo de Amicis 73 street, 2,5 km away from the car park. When you wish to have your vehicle back, you just have to call the car park 20 min before and they will bring it back so you can take it again.

But where do you start among all the places that there are to visit in Florence? The first thing to know is that this guarded car park is only a 3 minute walk from the famous Basilica of Santa Croce and other points of interest such as the Buonarroti House Museum and the Central National Library of Florence. However, it has to be said that in the centre of Florence everything is very close, so you can easily reach the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza della Signoria and the beautiful Ponte Vecchio, all in about ten minutes (or more if you stop to take photos!).
Even parking near the Uffizi Gallery will not be a problem and within a 5-minute walk from the Garage dei Tintori you can visit this famous museum.
If after the Uffizi you want to visit other museums in Florence, just a few metres from the Garage dei Tintori you’ll find the Galileo Museum, and when you cross the Ponte alle Grazie you can go directly to the Stefano Bardini Museum, in the Oltrarno area.
